Buckley Girls Gymnastic Club was founded in 1974 and has continued to grow in strength and numbers over the years. For the past 27 years the Club has been under the guidance of Mr Stan Buckley who has spent many years studying and gathering information to enhance the quality of gymnastics not only in Buckley Gym Club but through out Wales as a whole. In November 2002 Stan Buckley decided to semiretire from the Club, although he is still our Coaching Director he no longer trains our gymnasts on a regular basis. He has now handed over the reigns of the Club to his younger daughter Mrs Maxine Baker and together with the rest of the coaching staff and committee they hope to take this club forward to once again achieving the success we have had in the past.
